We are monitoring all the information about Hurricane Irma. Please pray that the Lord would steer this storm to where lives are impacted the least.
With the coming of Hurricane Irma, Faith will be cancelling all services and events on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. (September 9, 10 and 11). We are gathering for a Service of Prayer and Guidance on Wednesday September 13th at 6:30 p.m.
As the hurricane approaches, please pray for the Lord to keep us safe. Our LCMS church body has a well-developed emergency operations department and years of experience in helping. In the coming weeks, we will encourage you to assist us in helping those affected by Harvey, Irma and upcoming storms. As you are able, consider how you can help those affected.
Rest in God. In frightening moments like this, we remember that there is power in the practices of discipleship – prayer, reading the Bible, reflecting on the words of Christians who have gone before us. Pray for all affected by this storm and for God’s mercy. Read the Bible, particularly the Gospels, and remind yourself of Jesus love for you.
